A mural is going to be painted on the wall of where Jim’s Barber Shop used to be. This is on the left as you head into downtown, just past Franklin St. They are looking for community input, and there will be a chance for the community to help as well.
If you didn’t get a chance at the Strawberry Festival, you can still give your input. Brandy Coomes at Mainstreet needs your response by June 20th. You can send it to firstname.lastname@example.org. You can download the form, fill it out, and email it to her, or I imagine just sending her the requested information in an email form and giving it the subject Shelbyville Mural would be sufficient. You can also contact them at their office at 317-398-9552.
Remember, June 20th, 2014 is the deadline!
