Cycling to a Healthier Shelby County

Bicycle ImageOn Tuesday, Oct. 16th, 2012, a seminar was held regarding Planning for a Bicycle-Friendly Community. I attended this seminar and recorded a video of my take on the seminar. Please take the time to view it, and maybe check out a few of the links below the video.

The 5 E-s of creating a bicycle friendly community were addressed by the seminar.

  5. Evaluation and Planning

In addition, 4 ways a community benefits were shown.

  3. Environmental Benefit
  4. Health Benefit

You can also join the Bike Trails Action Team of the Shelby County Aspiration Process which meets the first Wednesday of each month at 5pm at the Blue River Community Foundation Building at 54 West Broadway Street.
