2012 Summer Lunch Program
May 29 through August 3, 2012
Shelbyville Central Schools is pleased to announce that beginning Tuesday, May 29, FREE sack lunches will be provided at eight (8) locations in our community by the Shelbyville Central Schools Food Service Department as part of a USDA federally funded food program (SFSP).
The sack lunches are FREE to ALL children 18 and younger and will be served Monday thru Friday of each week from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the following locations.
Shelbyville Boys Club and Girls Inc., Parking Lot
**Breakfast will also be served from 7:30-9:30 a.m. at the Boys Club and Girls Inc.
Shelbyville High School, Cafeteria
Loper Elementary School, Cafeteria
Cimarron Place Apartments
Shelby’s Crest Apartments
Martin Estates Apartments
These meals provide essential nutrients for active, growing kids. To participate in the SCS 2012 Summer Lunch Program, all kids have to do is show up at one of the open sites. Lunches must be eaten on site. No application or registration is required.
Students going into grades 1 through 8 who will be participating in the Summer Reading Program, may visit the Bookmobile at the lunch site in the parking lot of the Boys Club and Girls Inc. every Tuesday through July.
